Hello world from your friendly neighborhood digital plumber!

My name is Jason and welcome to my blog! Here you will find stories and thoughts surrounding the ever-evolving world of data engineering and machine learning. So a little bit about myself, from hip realignments devices to hospital bed usage predictions, for the last 10 years, my career has taken me from the hardware side to the software side of healthcare. Currently, I manage and build reliable pipelines that feed into machine learning algorithms with LeanTaaS. Prior to LeanTaaS, I was a computer science graduate student at New York University's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. At NYU, I was part of the Predictive Analytics Research Team and I was a fellow with NYU's Ignite healthcare fellowship. My graduate studies focused on massively parallel processing, machine learning, and big data. In this blog, the topics I will cover will roughly fall into the following topics:

  • Data Engineering

  • Book Reviews

  • Technology News
